Interjute presents its products and establishes new business contacts at the Agro de Portugal trade fair.
The company’s stand received numerous visits from authorities, customers, partners and representatives of various companies from the agricultural, livestock and food industries.
Interjute has participated in Agro, the International Agriculture, Livestock and Food Fair whose 56th edition was held at the end of March at the Altice Forum in Braga, Portugal. In this important event, the company has presented its products and has established new contacts with companies of the sector.
Specifically, Interjute was present at Agro with a stand where it presented its packaging and packaging solutions, which are commonly used in many of the sectors participating in this fair. Thus, during the four days of this meeting, the sales managers in Portugal Rui Alexandrino and Joao Braz showed and offered advice on the use of the main products of the company, such as big bags (FIBC), polypropylene bags, polypropylene fabrics, ground cover, anti-weed fabrics and geotextile.
At Interjute we are very satisfied with the repercussion that the company has had at the fair, as our stand was very well visited by personalities, customers and various companies in the sector. All of them were able to see first-hand the excellent characteristics of our products, which are currently leaders in Europe for their quality, flexibility and resistance. Thanks to our efforts and knowledge of the sector, we have experienced rapid business growth and international expansion, making us the leading supplier of big bags and packaging solutions. Being serious and strict in our production and sales processes has made us a reliable company for our customers.
On the first day of the Agro fair, the stand was visited by the president of the Chamber of Braga and the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as other personalities from Braga and from all over the country. On the second day, several of our clients visited the stand and we had the opportunity to establish new contacts with potential clients and companies in the sector.
The last two days, coinciding with the weekend, were days with a large number of families and where we also received visits from customers and partners, as well as establishing contacts with small companies and potential new customers.
Agro is one of the most important agriculture, livestock and food fairs in the north-east of the Iberian Peninsula and the only Portuguese fair that is part of Eurasco (European Federation of Agricultural Fairs and Event Organisers); it is also one of the fairs accredited by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, with all its statistical data (entries, rented space, number of exhibitors) duly certified.
On this occasion, the fair had more than 200 exhibitors and more than 450 agricultural machines on display. Almost a hundred brands from the agricultural and livestock sectors also participated, with organic agricultural products, agrochemicals and fertilisers, as well as agricultural implements and machinery. Also present were banks and insurance companies, publishers and specialised press, packaging companies, energy, renewable energies, as well as official entities and bodies, teaching and research entities related to the sector, representatives of greenhouses, forests, floriculture, animal genetics, horticulture, gardening, plants and nurseries, treated wood and fencing, animal nutrition, olive groves, rice production, parts and accessories for agricultural purposes, livestock, regional products, support services, seeds and irrigation systems.
Taking advantage of the fact that the fair was held at the Altice Forum Braga, Agro once again presented a wide and diverse programme of conferences and seminars, as well as a space dedicated to demonstrations, presentations and tastings. There was also space for the traditional livestock competitions, which were held inside the pavilion, in a 300 m² ring.
This event has been a great opportunity to increase Interjute’s projection in the agriculture, livestock and food industry, and we are confident that we will consolidate our participation in the coming years.
