Interjute to participate in the 56th edition of Agro in Portugal

This international agricultural, livestock and food fair, which will be held from March 21 to
24 at the Altice Forum in Braga, is one of the most important in the northeast of the
peninsula.

Interjute will be participating in the 2024 edition of Agro, the International Fair of Agriculture, Livestock and Food, which will be held from March 21 to 24 at the Altice Forum Braga in Portugal. It is one of the most important agricultural fairs in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula and the most important in northern Portugal.

This edition of Agro will have more than 25,000 m² of space, of which 15,000 m² will be dedicated to exhibitors, and will bring together the main players in the sector: farmers, ranchers (native breeds and others from the agricultural sector), producers, importers, warehouses and retailers of the agri-food and livestock sector, national and foreign experts from different sectors and the general public.

Interjute could not miss this event, being one of the most important manufacturers of plastic packaging in Europe, offering packaging solutions that are directly related to and are of utmost importance in the agriculture and livestock sectors.

Interjute will be present with a stand where we will showcase our packaging, which is commonly used in many of the sectors participating in this fair. Specifically, at our stand, commercial technicians Rui Alexandrino and Joao Braz will show and offer advice on the use of our main products, such as big bags (FIBC), polypropylene sacks, polypropylene fabrics, ground cover, mesh ground covers and geotextile.

In total, the fair will have more than 200 exhibitors and more than 450 agricultural machines will be exhibited. Likewise, more than 80 brands from the agricultural and livestock sectors will participate, with products from organic agriculture, agrochemicals and fertilizers, laboratory analysis, as well as agricultural implements and machinery. Banks and insurance companies, publishers and specialized press, packaging companies, energy, renewable energies, as well as official entities and organizations, educational and research entities related to the sector, representatives of greenhouses, forests, floriculture, animal genetics, horticulture, gardening, plants and nurseries, treated wood and fences,
animal nutrition, olive groves, rice fields, parts and accessories for agricultural purposes, livestock, regional products, support services, seeds and irrigation systems will also be present.

Taking advantage of the Altice Forum Braga, Agro will once again present a wide and diverse program of conferences and seminars, as well as a space dedicated to demonstrations, presentations and tastings. The event also has space for the traditional livestock competitions, which will be held inside the pavilion, in a 300 m² ring.

It is worth noting that Agro is the only Portuguese fair that is part of Eurasco (European Federation of Fairs and Organizers of Agricultural Events) and is also part of the fairs accredited by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, with all its statistical data (tickets, square meters rented, number of exhibitors) duly certified.

This will be the first time that Interjute participates in this event and we are confident that we will consolidate our participation in the coming years.
